How To Become An LFSC Member?
(We Don't Accept "Walk In" New Memberships)

We won't start accepting 2025 new membership requests until November 18, 2024 (For 2025 Memberships)
Individuals seeking membership must first attend a Safety & Orientation meeting, have a current LFSC member sponsor their membership, and attend a subsequent Business Meeting to be voted into membership. The sponsor is NOT required to attend the Safety & Orientation meeting, but can attend if they choose to do so. The sponsor is not required to attend the Business Meeting when the new member is voted on. Members can sponsor multiple individuals at one time, or throughout the new membership period. *IMPORTANT! Please let us know if you were a past LFSC member, and approximate last year of membership.
If any of the above required information is omitted from the email, the request won't be acknowledged, and the joining process won't proceed.
One membership per email request. A family membership is considered one membership. Emails containing multiple membership requests will be rejected! Once request has been approved, you'll receive an acknowledgement email with further instructions. The email will also include an application and LFSC Rules. You must receive an acknowledgement email in order to attend the orientation and be considered for membership. PLEASE NOTE! Our email response contains attachments that could cause it to go to Spam or Junk folders. We usually respond within 24 hours, so if you don't see a quick response from us, check those folders, or contact us again.
New memberships are limited to 20 applicants per month to attend the mandatory New Member Orientation.
In order to accommodate new members, all new members will not be eligible to purchase a Guest Pass for a period of one year from when they were voted into membership.
Safety & Orientation Meeting
(Required for new membership)
At this meeting, the candidate for membership will participate in a Safety & Orientation meeting. The meeting will cover general membership info, firearms safety, firearm types, ammunition types, range etiquette, ranges tour, and more. The Safety & Orientation duration is 3-4 hours.
We strongly encourage you to review the Rules & Policies prior to attending the meeting. We want you to be aware of what you can or can't do at LFSC before becoming a member.

When are Member/Business Meetings?
Monthly club member/business meetings are held on the 1st Saturday of the month at 10:00 a.m. This meeting is open only to current members, pre-approved guests, and new members to be voted in. Members attending this meeting must wear current membership cards. New members to be voted in, and pre-approved guests are excused from wearing a membership card.
You must be 18 years or older to hold a Primary Membership.
A primary membership is held by an individual over 18 years, or the heads of household for a Family Membership. Anyone under 18 has to be associated with a Family Membership and must be accompanied by one of the adults in that membership.
Membership Dues and Fees
The yearly membership time frame is from January 1st to December 31st. If you join at anytime during the year, the membership expires on December 31st, and must be renewed to remain a member. Dues aren't prorated! Renewal period is from October 1st to December 31st for the following year.
Renewals are due by December 31st! If mailed, renewals with a postmark after December 31st will be rejected and returned to the sender. Our bylaws prohibit us from processing late renewals, and require an individual to rejoin in order to continue membership.
Children of Family Membership Turning 18 Years Old
Children of family memberships, 18 and older, can't be included in family memberships. If you have children turning 18 and they would like to continue their membership in the club, we've made special provisions. The individual must attend the orientation, but the orientation fee requirement is waived, when a child who is part of a family membership turns 18, and applies for a membership within one year of turning 18.
2024 New Membership Costs & Dues
*New Members must pay one time fees of $85...$55 Initiation/Orientation and $30 Electronic Gate Key, in addition to the yearly dues of $95 Single or $130 Family. Family Total is $215, Single Total is $180
Please note: Effective with new members joining in 2023, all applicants can join only as a Single or Family membership, regardless of age. For 2023 new memberships, and thereafter, senior memberships will not be available.
Guest Pass is not available to new members until their one-year anniversary of being voted into membership. At this time, the Sponsor no longer shares responsibility for the actions of the new member.

Family Membership (Covers Primary Member, significant other, and children under 18 that live in that household)
Dues: $130.00
Sr. Membership Renewal (If Eligible)
Dues: $75.00
Sr. Family Membership Renewal (If Eligible) Covers Primary Member, significant other, and children under 18 that live in that household.
Dues: $100.00
*If you're applying for a Family Membership to include a significant other (Non-Spouse) residing in the same household, you'll be required to provide proof of that individual residing at the Primary Member address.
Junior Membership $15.00

Guest Pass
$50.00/Year (January 1st-December 31st of the year purchased) You must be a member for one year to purchase a Guest Pass.
Guest Pass can be purchased at any time during the year, but isn't prorated. Example: Guest Pass purchased in June 2024 expires on December 31, 2024. The LFSC Guest Pass is a privilege, intended to be used as a way to introduce non-members to our facilities, and to introduce and/or promote shooting activities to others. It's not meant to be used as a means to avoid becoming a member, or continuing membership, in order to use our facilities. A Guest Pass can be revoked if abused!
*Limit of one Guest Pass per membership (Single or Family)
*One guest per member/per visit (Shooting or Non-Shooting). Unlimited number of visits.
*Guests are not permitted to use the Indoor Range or 300 Yard Range.
If you want to upgrade your membership to have a Guest Pass, and are eligible (over one year as a member), send a $50.00 check or money order made payable to LFSC. Be sure to include the member name and return address. We will send you a Guest Pass sticker that will be affixed to your current membership card along with instructions.

Members are responsible for the safety and behavior of their guests! Guests must be on the same range with member. Unsafe behavior or disregarding LFSC rules will result in the revocation of Guest Pass, and possibly club membership. In the event of Guest Pass and/or Membership revocation, there will be no refund.

Postal & Email Address Changes
If your postal and/or email address has changed, please let us know so we can send membership renewals, and other communications to the proper address. If we're not notified, and you don't receive your renewal, the late renewal policies will be strictly enforced. Notify us at: Member Address Change Be sure to include your name, old address, and member number as it appears on your current Membership Card. We do not share member info with anyone, except club officers that have a legitimate need to know for club business.
